About the BabyHawk Mei Tai

BabyHawk Mei Tais are custom designed carriers for the style conscious parent. Their Mei Tais (Asian Baby Carriers) are adopted from a Chinese-inspired idea that makes holding your little lovely on your front, back or hip as safe as it is comfortable. The weight distribution of their MTs makes wearing you baby more cozy and delightful than you can imagine for longer than you can imagine! Our design is simple, so putting on or taking off your Mei Tai is quick and easy.

BabyHawk Mei Tais are comfortable, sure, but they are above all safe and reliable. All of the fabrics used are pre-washed and dried to prevent shrinkage. The straps are 70 inches long and 3 3/4 inches wide. The bottom strap is one continuous piece of fabric, which offers the most durable and safest support for your baby. The body measures 16.5" by 18.5", unless you choose to order a Custom BabyHawk.lar. The fold-down headrest adds an extra 3 inches to the body height. The top straps are padded as well as the headrest to offer the most comfortable walk for mom or dad and a safe, smooth ride for baby.

We believe that carrying your baby is the best way to raise a healthy and happy child. We also believe that you have a right to be comfortable while doing so. The BabyHawk Headrest

The headrest can be used up or down. When the headrest is up, the carrier is approximately 3" taller than the regular body size. The headrest is great if you plan on using your BabyHawk with a newborn or if you like having your baby sleep on your back often -- it will give him proper head support.

Most older babies would rather be able to see out easily and have their arms out of the top of the carrier, which is easily done by flipping down the headrest or going for a Custom BabyHawk and choosing a ToddlerHawk.
